The FT cylinders need to use the small nozzle-like thingy to connect
to the pneumatic tubing.

| This is the first thing you
have to build in order to power the models coz there's no hand pump in
the kit! Of course, you could borrow the LEGO hand pump if you're not
a FT purist. |

Parts |
The solenoid valve (#35327) and
nozzle fittings (#35328) are available as spare parts from Knobloch
Electronic. Following is
the relevant portion from the FT price list (in German).

This is the solenoid valve as shown in the picture right at the top

This is the straight nozzle attachment for the outlet and inlet of the
valve. You need two for each valve. However, you do not need these if
you're using LEGO pneumatic tubing which will fit the valve inlet and
outlet directly.
