Unlike LEGO, FT pneumatics does not have a ready made
pump element. Instead, the pump is fabricated using a small cylinder
with a one-way valve attached to one of the ports. |

Only one port of the double-acting cylinder is used. If
I were to connect another one-way valve to the unused port, would a
double acting pump result? And would it give twice the output? |

| The FT air compressor is large because the
components are large especially the pulley and air tank. |
