Pneumatic Applications Using Suction |

| One of the interesting features of the old
pneumatics is that it can be used to generate suction - air power in
reverse, so to speak. This has been
put to good use by Rob Stehlik in his Window
Walker. |
| As I do not
have the necessary parts to replicate Rob's walker, I took the easy
way and got myself one of the Climb@Tron motorized window
climbing robots,
namely the Vertibug. Here are pics of this critter for
your admiration. |

The climber will turn and reverse direction
when the blue protrusion at either end hits a barrier. |
