Here are some items which interested me from the Singapore Robotic Games 2000 which was held at
the Singapore Polytechnic in May 2000.
The lion dance is a traditional way of greeting in
this here parts. It requires two persons in manpower, one to man the head and the other to
take care of the tail. Some enterprising chaps have come up with the high-tech substitute
- using pneumatics, of course!
Here's a Stewart Platform used in a virtual
reality application
One thing about the air compressors in the real
life pneumatics applications - they're huge compared to our puny Lego ones.
Look
at that awesome air compressor which drives the Stewart Platform. Enough to power all your
Lego pneumatics and more!
